Objective
The project’s main goal is to build the capacity of educators and students, while improving how universities teach sustainable transport in the Global South. The research assignment will carry out meaningful activities that will steer future engineers on sustainable transport and the globally responsible role they play in society.
Research findings will be converted into an interactive design month in August 2024, and a Playbook in the form of a toolkit will be produced. It is expected the educators will continue to apply the knowledge gained from the Playbook to better prepare students to develop globally responsible practice. The intended long-term impact of the project is to raise awareness among educators and students about the importance of sustainable transport in the Global South.
