A webinar series presenting the latest short term research demonstrating innovative ideas that enable greener, more sustainable and inclusive transport in LMICs.
Transport is critical for growing economies, overcoming poverty and ensuring people access vital services such as healthcare and education. Yet in recent years we’ve seen infrastructures buckle under intense pressures such as the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change, particularly in LMICs. To meet these challenges, we need to think and act differently.
This two-part online webinar series explores the insights to come out of HVT’s Transport-Technology Research and Innovation for International Development (T-TRIID) funding. The programme funded nine organisations who brought forward ideas that needed further research and could hold the key to unlocking sustainable, safer, greener and inclusive transport.
