Objective
The main objective of this research assignment is to develop target-oriented tools and guidance to improve future capacity building in LICs and within development agencies. This is being done through knowledge gathering based on desk-based research, expert interviews, and through the delivery of an expert workshop to share findings and collect feedback. An evidence base will be created for the most effective strategies of capacity building for transport institutions in LICS. A needs assessment methodology to apply the most efficient strategies will ultimately be established.
